Auto 66 riders again stood on podiums and secured top 10 results during the 2017 Isle of Man TT races during the last week.
Oliver's Mount crowd favourite Dean Harrison was on fire all week securing two third place finishes on his superbike whilst his dad Conrad Harrison gave the family even more to celebrate with a fantastic third in the sidecars.
Daley Mathison landed his second podium with a great third place finish in the TT zero whilst two times Lightweight TT winner Ivan Lintin came up just short with a fourth place finish.
Standout rides from Jamie Coward, James Cowton, Dan Hegarty and newcomer Joey Thompson also gave the Auto 66 Club much to celebrate, not just at the TT races but also the post TT races held at Billown circuit on Saturday with more podiums.
However it wasn't all celebrations as there were a few unfortunate crashes for some riders at the TT including Lee Johnston, Tom Weeden and Ian Hutchinson which will see them missing the next events at Oliver's Mount. We wish all injured riders a very speedy recovery.
Finally, we are sad to say that Alan Bonner, Davey Lambert and Jochem Van Den Hoek unfortunately lost their lives whilst racing the TT. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all the families and friends affected by these tragic losses. RIP Alan, Davey and Jochem.
Auto 66 springs back into action in just a couple of weeks time on June 24th/25th with the Oliver's Mount Cock O'The North event. If you were unable to make it to the TT or you simply can't get enough of the sport, Scarborough is the place to be that weekend with many of the TT riders in attendance. www.oliversmountracing.com for more information.
Congratulations again to all our Auto 66 members who competed in the Isle of Man TT in 2017 and we look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks.
