Dean Harrison extends Duke Rankings lead

Seven starts - seven race victories summed up Dean Harrison's weekend at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough for the Cock o'the North Road Races, round nine of the Duke Road Race Rankings 2017.

Riding the Silicone Engineering Kawasaki machines the current Duke Champion also set three new lap records during the two-day event.

Even more impressive is that the Bradford rider won the feature Cock o'the North Trophy Race for the fifth consecutive time, becoming the most successful winner of the title since it was first won in 1947

2014 champion, James Cowton is keeping his fellow Yorkshireman honest maintaining second place after a win, a second and third.

Two wins, a second and four third places elevates Ivan Lintin to third position in the rankings, up 13 places, with Daley Mathison also climbing 13 spots after his five second and a fourth place finish to sit in sixth spot.

A double victory in the Lightweight races also advances Joe Thompson seven positions to tenth.

Just outside the top-ten in 11th is 2015 Duke Newcomers Award winner Adam McLean having achieved two seconds. A third and two - fourth places, the Ballymoney rider moves up 11 rungs.

There are four new entries in the top fifty - Steven Haddow; Ben Shuttlewood; Daniel Frear and Brian Greenfield.
